Together with Huset ved Kongens Have the Theory & Practice team presents the first session of a series called Science & Cocktails.
As the name indicates Theory & Practice wishes to impart knowledge sharing while creating events at the same time. This is why the team uses the phrase ‘Edutainment’ which is a contraction of education and entertainment.
On the night the Danish theoretical physicist Holger Bech Nielsen will digress on the miracles that stopped the largest particle accelerator in world to function. Lars Schmidt will pay a tribute to the father of the cocktail, “Professor” Jerry Thomas. Both lectures will be in English and afterwards you’ll have the chance to hang out and chat while listening to old jazz records played by dj Henrique de Souza.
There are limited number of seats so if you want to join send an email to jay@husetvedkongenshave.dk with your name and number of seats.
