News: Hello Roskilde!

This is just to let you know that the following week, the Hello Copenhagen editorial team will be moving to Roskilde Festival. Not really to blog a lot, but mostly to have fun and hear some great concerts.
So, the lack of upcoming events is not because we have fallen asleep, but because Roskilde will be the place to be. You can still get one-day tickets.
Besides all the great concerts you can find in the official programme, there are also many other things to experience such as spontaneous parties, random happenings and crazy people. In other words: we like Roskilde Festival.

27-30 JUNE: CONTEMPORARY ART

In the introducing days, Roskilde Museum of Contemporary Art presents a programme of performance and sound art in connection to one of their previous exhibitions centered on ‘action’. Check out the performances where action is art.
29 JUNE: PECHA KUCHA NIGHT #14
@ Expression stage, Camping East // 13:00-14:30
The usual concept of 20×20 has gone festival. The presenter has 20 slides of 20 seconds to tell the audience about their passions and creative ideas. Come and hear something about poetry, the pool, street art, the Roskilde Festival school and much more. The shows are usually great and I think this will be no exception. After the presenters, there will be a shout out, where the audience is invited to go on stage and present their input in 20 seconds.
30 JUNE: ROSKILDE TWEETUP

30 JUNE: SUPERBACON & WAQAR PARTY

Wednesday parties rock at Roskilde Festival. Top DJs Kasper Bjørke + Tomas Barfod + Waqar have been invited to bring you a killer 3-hour rave. Superbacon has previously been throwing parties in Berlin, Brussels and Copenhagen and will tour clubs in Europe during summer.
1 JULY: FLASHMOB
@ around the bridge between camping East and West // 16:00-16:02
Be around the bridge five minutes to 4. At 4 o’clock a person will shout “Der kommer spyd!” (Coming spike) and everyone will fall to the ground. Afterwards the same person will shout “false alarm” and everyone just stand up and walk away. Pure fun :-) Continue on and enjoy the festival.
