1 February: Street fashion reception

no entrance fee

16:00 – 19:00 // no entrance fee

As you may know,  this week has been declared fashion week in Copenhagen.

This of course means a lot of “hard to reach” parties and closed doors – but it also means small receptions and free drinks.

Rezet Store is a fairly new (and my personal favorite) sneaker store in Copenhagen. It’s a bit secluded from the busy Strøget and has a welcoming atmosphere.

The small shop is host when the ‘street’ brand Moustage is launching their new collection – their first collection was completely sold out, so I guess if you are into street fashion, this would not be a bad place to get some shopping inspiration.

Also there will be vodka/Burn for the thirsty and of course a dj will be spreading the good vibes.

Remember to bring cash.

You’ll definitely see me there.

10 December: Art, music & espresso christmas market

Old Mate Coffee Bar, Nansensgade 26 tv, city Show map
no entrance fee

13:00 – 17:00 // no entrance fee

I actually got this event recommended by my Canadian friend Michael. He loves Copenhagen and talks about Denmark as a country with a lot of great hidden music… But he can’t buy it anymore, as he sadly, has moved back to Canada.

I promised to get him some music stuff (Efterklang) at this event, as it is exceptionally cheap.

Maybe I’ll find some cheap arty posters, books etc. for  the friends without christmas wishes. And coffee… Lots of coffee.

If you are in town between 21 and 23 July and feel like chilling in the park, the open air film screenings in Ørstedsparken seem like a perfect thing to do. Presented by the MIX Copenhagen (formerly Copenhagen Gay and Lesbian Film Festival) this year’s showings include The Kids Are All Right, Howl and The Last Summer of La Boyita.

The entry is free, there is a bar, cheap popcorn and music before the showings. Hopefully the weather will also contribute to the summerhygge.

Free shots and a sailor rave theme at Rezet Store. These guys really know how to party and how to make you aware of the theme of the party (I personally know for a fact) .

You. Simply. Must. Go. Here. PromilleService blows your rave heart out – trust me. I’ve experienced them live several times at Roskilde Festival. Promise to stop by!

In addition Michael Romaniuk will be displaying some of his work entitled ‘metropolis viridis’. Through his work and choice of material he focuses on the interplay of green and grey.

So you better drop by the UB store, who knows what else might fall into your lap? Besides the Adidas block party is just around the corner.
