@ Gefährlich, Fælledvej 7, Copenhagen N Show map

19:00-21:30 // Free entrance, dinner menu 75 Dkk

Yes – we still need to say that we usually don’t write about events like this because it’s a reading held in Danish. And yes – we still have to admit that it’s an event too cozy to be left out.

The concept is the same: You enjoy a rustic dinner in a really candle light dinner way while pampering your ears with poetry from some of the most inspiring writers in DK.

This time you can enjoy an excellent storytelling by writers Søren Ulrik Thomsen, Dy Plambeck and Morten Søkilde and surely you can expect to be drawn by the live imagery from all three writers.

If you want to be sure to get a table you should definitely book as soon as possible.

27-30 May: Mellemrum performance festival

Posted 24 May 2010 by Mai Ji

@ A specific site somewhere in Nørrebro
21:30-23:30 // 50 Dkk

Mellemrum is a site-specific performance festival produced by choreographer Kitt Johnson. In 2008 Copenhagen city center supplied the artists with asphalt for their creativity.

In 2010 it’s Nørrebro: A neighbourhood with a distinctive political past and present, social strains, colourful children and the most vibrant, untamed and entrepreneurial citizens. Nørrebro is a neighbourhood, a tough bastard, a dreamer, a survivor that won’t be knocked out.

Ten performers have each given their interpretation of a specific space that has caught their attention and six children from Nørrebro have joined in. So you can expect a walk through known and unknown parts of Nørrebro. The meeting point will be given to you when your tickets are purchased. Just be aware that the tours start at the exact time, so don’t be late.
