12:00 – 21:00 // no entrance fee
One year ago Copenhagen got this super cool street facilities’ area called StreetMekka. Streetmekka is an initiative to improve the circumstances for street culture in Denmark by offering dance-, parkour-, soccer-, DJ- and basket ball classes INDOOR.
It is kept loyal to the street by looking sort of rough inside with the graffiti decorated concrete walls and asphalted basket ball lots. No wonder Streetmekka has become real popular during the year and friday it is time to celebrate this!

On B-day ALL CLASSES ARE FREE and no matter if you would like to join in or just watch, I think there are some really cool things going on:

Dance battles, drawing workshops, DJ school, street soccer, concerts, double-dutch and live media coverage by DR.

See the entire program

No doubt it will be great and of course there is an after party to attend to as well. After party at Rust See you there!

Free entrance

19:00 – 24:00 // free entrance

Watch how Carl Krull’s edgy and absurd drawings take shape, when KPH art is hosting their first live art event.

The concept of the event is simply to sit and follow Carl Krull making his twisted fantasy world come to life on the canvas. The work  is simultaniously shown on a screen, which enables the spectator to see the work in progress from Carl Krull’s point of view. A chillaxed way to experience young art and an unpretentious alternative to the conventional vernissages.

While the creation takes shape, records are being flipped by Dj Vium from Sumo Club , Dj Trovatten and Dj Schack and KPH art is of course hosting an affordable bar.

Fortunately you still have the opportunity to nurture your inner bargain gene as the bar Mesteren & Lærlingen together with AFUK will host three flea markets during the rest of the year – one for each month.

KPH (Københavns Projekthus) will create an indoor climate suitable for most people with a penchant for coffee and warmth. So you probably won’t have to wear the big winter coat as you will be able to warm yourself at the coffee shop in between flea hunting.

So dig out the merchant inside you and drop in for some afternoon hygge and fun.
