News: Copenhagen is all about Climate
Posted 7 December 2009 by AnneThe UN Climate Change Conference is filling up Copenhagen with lots of people from all around the world. We really like the fact that Copenhagen for once is embracing the rest of the world. But if you are not all about politics, bureaucratics and cool cash, there are also other ways to engage and experience the climate debate.
Besides the events Expanded Space and July in December, here are a few events during the climate conference in Copenhagen:
PEOPLE’S CLIMATE SUMMIT
The People’s Climate Summit is a counterpart to the UN conference in Bella Center. The alternative summit serves as a civil, NGO-driven event and is the largest climate event in Copenhagen besides the official COP15.
The summit is open for concerned citizen from around the world and everyone are welcome to go here and take part in the debate together with activists, academics, artists and writers and many others.
