8 April: Late Night Hunting

The small street with lots of small independent shops is inviting you for an evening with different kinds of treats. In the spirit of the arrival of springtime, the street is gonna be open for the evening.

You can check out the shops for cool vintage or homemade designs, listen to djs or go for a concert with Vampire Blow or In the Fiery Murk

Figaro’s Overload is gonna bring you some of the finest cup cakes. And Onigiri is gonna light up the outdoor grill for some Korean barbecue with Yaki-sticks and Japanese potato salad.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

The popular soup bar with the slogan ‘Don’t panic – it’s organic’ has already won the hearts of locals at Nørrebro and recently the soup crew opened a new bar located in Copenhagen K. So this is also your opportunity to take a sneak peek at the new locations.

The multi-talented musician Prins Nitram will drop by to play a mini concert followed by Soupanatural’s resident Najaraak who will be accompanied by the young Frederik Rosenstand. So feel free to join for a hug, a talk, a singalong and ofcourse lots of organic drinks.

Welcome Spring with Co:Openhagen and Autodidakt at a Test FREE-ZONE at the Nytorv square! The aim is to change the space until the 1st of April with the help of artificial grass, soul music and ping-pong table.

There will be a set BBQ where you can grill whatever it is that you brought.

The fun will continue indoors after 19:00 – at  Huset I Magstræde where beer will be offered by 15 dkk.

11 March: Skateistan CPH10

This is one of those events we just can’t help loving. The Skateistan fundraiser is back with a great party introducing you to a cultural inferno of cooking, photographic and pictorial arts, music and ofcourse lots of street skaters will drop by to show their skills.

Skateistan is a volunteer-driven NGO, whose main thrust is to create a positive content in Afghan children’s lives by building professional skateparks around Afghanistan. On the day of the fundraiser Cph Skatepark hosts a big skate competition and some of Scandinavia’s best skaters will be participating in the open jam between 20:00 and 21:00.

Also you can expect a unique exhibition of hand painted skateboards from both Danish and international artists and a special photo exhibition showing you Skateistan’s newly established school in Afghanistan. Throughout the day and night cool music will keep you warm at heart.
