Do you appreciate genuine everyday meals? Over an open fire under the bridge, sun in your face, swinging vibrations of New Orleans Jazz in your ears and the sound of waves rocking the waterfront?

Then you should definitely go down past Aarstiderne who will open a two-day only restaurant under Knippelsbro.

Aarstiderne are known for delivering organic fruit and vegetable boxes to your door and so there will be one meal on the menu in the POP-UP restaurant for 42 Dkk. per person. The exact same price as if you get all commodities delivered as a meal box and cook it yourself.

Wine wholesaler Rosforth & Rosforth will be selling rustic wine from the wine bar. So just bring a good appetite and when you reach the bridge then go for the smell of herbs and hot spices. See you under the bridge.

From 14:00-late // free

Look forward to a local atmosphere when the well-known Nørrebro street takes on the annual street party. Summer has hit Copenhagen and this is one of the many occasions where the city has the possibility to show its very best.

Three stages around Blågårdsgade will make sure that everyone is entertained, and during the day, you can also find a flea market by the Church. Usually it is a good chance to hang out, bump into friends and share some nice food and drinks.

If you are a party animal, then go for one of the after-parties at Stengade, Støberiet or Global.

There’s plenty of 2200 Love for all.

16:00-19:00 // free entrance

The cats and kittens of the Copenhagen swing community are finally hanging out again!

This means that curious people get the opportunity to try out the best moves from swing, jitterbug and lindy hop.

The instructions will be in english and danish, and there is absolutely no need to be scared of tripping over your feet. It is just a matter of having fun.

You don’t need to dress up in any way and you don’t need to bring a partner. The swing-DJ will be in his place and in this foolishly happy crowd you will easily get carried away.

So spend your sunday on something real and go move your feet like there’s no tomorrow.

Mike Sheridan in Brorsons Church

Posted 7 April 2011 by Leh

March 11th a couple of Hello Copenhageners went to Brorsons Church to listen to electro/ alternative music.

When we got there, people were lying all over the floor, just giving into the music. The only light came from the Vj’s light maschine which gave the whole experience a sinister fairytale feeling.

I’m sure this event will be in my top ten events of this year and I hope it was not the last time the church gets invaded by light and soothing sounds.

My friend and photographer Kenneth Nguyen covered the event:

25 September: Flea Market Jægersborggade

Posted 16 September 2010 by Mai Ji
All through Jægersborggade, Copenhagen N Show map

10:00-15:00 // free entrance

It’s time for another round of flea market throughout Jægersborggade.

The cobbled shopping street known for its niche and specialty shops where you can give yourself or your loved ones a treat is once again hosting a flea market day.

Whether you’re into coffee, wine, art and design, photography or other stuff that pampers your body and soul, this street is known for doing something about it and you can be certain to meet entrepreneurship if you cross the street on your way.

So bring your mother, your lover, your best friend or a stranger and walk down to Jægersborggade.  All the shops, galleries and restaurants will be open and the Farmers Market will host its last eco-market of the year. Maybe Kolby & Co. will make cupcakes and maybe Æter will give the records a spin, just maybe.
