Churchill - definitely top 3 of my favorite events of the year.

Basically you lie on the floor on madrases in an old school church (!!!) while listening to soothing electro and watching the vj team Obscura’s visuals in the church ceiling. This truly is a devine experience that you do not want to miss!

The theater Bremen has put some of my favorite activities in a pot and stirred it around.

Charismatic flee market in between blue velvet theatre chairs. Burgers flipped and sold directly from the bike on the stage. Drinks, dj,s and live music.

Remember to bring cash.

You’ll definitely see me there.

Culture Center, Bryggen 18 Show map

If you’re tired of the rain and are in need for some summer feeling – don’t miss out on Reggae Festival presented by Youngblood Soundsystem. The festival takes place in one of the top summer spots ind Copenhagen – Islands Brygge a.k.a. Bryggen.

Chillax to the rhythms in the “waterside” and celebrate that it – once again – is friday.

The line-up is a mix of skilled Danish and foreign artists. Check out playlist on facebook.

March 11th a couple of Hello Copenhageners went to Brorsons Church to listen to electro/ alternative music.

When we got there, people were lying all over the floor, just giving into the music. The only light came from the Vj’s light maschine which gave the whole experience a sinister fairytale feeling.

 I’m sure this event will be in my top ten events of this year and I hope it was not the last time the church gets invaded by light and soothing sounds.

If you feel like having fun the copenhagen way, you must pay Drone a visit.

This Saturday the bar is celebrating it’s 2nd birthday with live music, free layer cake  and beer for the early guests.

At 22:00 the band ONE YEAR FROM HOME with the danish songwriter and producer Mads Brinch Nielsen in front will kickstart the party with some authentic, “human” music.

Later on the dj THE ADAM from the band The Good The Bad will play some rock ‘n’ roll, and hits from The Dirty Mac,  The Pretty Things, The Painted Faces and The Who will make sure you set your shoes on fire at the crowded dance floor.

It is going to be a wild night due to Drone’s likings, so if you are up for a proper party, this is the place to go.

The digital magazine called Third Ear presents a special listening event featuring Julie Shapiro from Chicago’s Third Coast Audio Festival – America’s leading festival for independent radio producers.

The show will be recorded and podcasted on Third Ear and you can take part in it. Ask questions and hear some amazing radio stories from the US.

Also present: Lotta Erikson, radio feature producer and teacher of radio at Stockholm’s Damatiska Institut.

The event will be held in English.

Electronic Tuesday is releasing its very own compilation featuring 27 of the finest Danish electronic artists. The double cd compilation gives you a delightful snapshop of the electronic scene as it looks right now.

Come for the release party in the great hall in the Danish National Gallery.

Badun, Yeti, Eloq & Det sejler i effekter will perform live.

The release party is part of the Strøm Festival programme. The tracklist on the compilation includes established names as well as newcomers: Lulu Rouge, Mikkel Metal, Badun, Bokal, Trentemøller, Rumpistol, Yeti and many others.
