4 February: Copenhagen Fashion Week for treasure hunters!

This saturday, February 4th – Trendsales and Fashion Flea hosts an event at Korsgadehallen, Nørrebro.

110 different flea market stands stuffed with designer brands, vintage clothing, pretty purses and sassy accessories. The event is for all of you that get a kick out of haggling prices and having fun with all the other “hunters”.

You will definitely find me there digging through all the golden treasures!

The event starts at 10am and closes at 4pm. The entrance fee is 35 kr.

The theater Bremen has put some of my favorite activities in a pot and stirred it around.

Charismatic flee market in between blue velvet theatre chairs. Burgers flipped and sold directly from the bike on the stage. Drinks, dj,s and live music.

20 May: Sneaker Banguet Private Sale

A number of Copenhagen shops and sneakers collectors have teamed up to both showcase and offer some of their sneakers for sale. There will be everything from rare gems to used freshness…. It will be a day in the sun with some nice barbequeing, beers, sodas and a bit of music in the alley.

And remember it is Store Bededag, a Danish bank holiday, so all the shops are closed. Use this nice day off to drop by and have a look, hang out or maybe buy some good stuff.

In the school’s common canteen you will find homemade design created by the students at the school. In addition there will also be a small flea market where you can find clothing and other stuff. The charming cobblestoned shopping street in Nørrebro will also do some Christmas kickstarting. And when Jægersborggade welcomes the Christmas ‘hygge’ you can expect hot chestnuts, Korean Christmas cards, Arabic coffee, hookah, organic produce & food, hot mulled wine, plenty of shopping opportunities and everything in between. The Farmers Market will also be open, normally this is only open during summer season. You can cool down your creditcard and warm your feet in the restaurants and bars along the street until midnight.

4 September: Bazaar at The Candy Factory

Apparently, out at The Candy Factory they have so many weird and wacky things that they now have decided to through a bazaar.

You might find something useful and/or fantastic when The Candy Factory will be transformed into a bazaar factory for a day. And while you’re at it you might as well bring some of your own stuff that takes lots of space for no purpose.

Just write to bolsjefabrikken@gmail.com and sign up or simply show up on the day and set up your own booth.

Otherwise you can expect open acoustic scene, bazaar atmosphere, coffee and cake, tea and lots of true ‘kræmmerstil’ – for the tradesman inside you.

Go for the release of the book called ‘Will I Go To Hell For This’ – a Danish book about graffiti on the Copenhagen S-trains from 1984 to 2009.

You can be among one of the first to check out this 264 page long book. But remember to bring cash if you want to buy it. It is 400 Dkk and there will also be other limited edition goodies for sale exclusively on this day.

The small street with lots of small independent shops is inviting you for an evening with different kinds of treats. In the spirit of the arrival of springtime, the street is gonna be open for the evening.

You can check out the shops for cool vintage or homemade designs, listen to djs or go for a concert with Vampire Blow or In the Fiery Murk

Figaro’s Overload is gonna bring you some of the finest cup cakes. And Onigiri is gonna light up the outdoor grill for some Korean barbecue with Yaki-sticks and Japanese potato salad.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

The vintage shop Time’s Up is not only known within the mainstream fashion crowd of Copenhagen. In particular the shop is also known for its ability to make dedicated costumers spread the word and gossip. And the gossip seems to work because the shop is now celebrating the launch of their new website. This means that you now have the chance to buy cool vintage stuff directly from the website.
