4 March: Ignite Denmark

In the spirit of inspiration itself, Ignite invites you to a session where ideas can be shared and new inspiration can be ignited.

A number of speakers will in 5 minutes show 20 slides and show and tell about their passion. It will be thought-provoking, fun, local and global – maybe even boring, but don’t worry. There’s only 5 minutes to the next speaker.

Ignite started in Seattle in 2006 and for the first time Copenhagen takes part in Global Ignite Week together with many other cities around the world.

The architectural landmark the Royal Library is hosting an evening that mixes different cultural genres. With this, the Royal Library wishes to create a unique experience of music, film, literature, dance, art, culture, happenings, lounge and djs.

11 February: Documentary Theme Night

Birgir Thor Møller sketches the current development in northern documentary. Director Janus Bragi Jakobsson shows his experimental documentary The Gentlemen.

In addition, on this theme night you can also see the short films Branda’s Addiction and Grøn Land, each with different approaches to the genre. The campaign film Burden won the northern climate film competition during COP15.
